Forward Problems
In some positions, paradoxically, the existence of a mate depends upon the A1.3 rule. The idea here is that many game positions may correspond to a single problem position, yet in only one of these is the position legal, because only in that one game position can a mate be found.
So here are problems which share in common that forward play depends upon A1.3 They are mostly, but not all, concerned with castling and e.p.
Actually, this is not really a category in the sense of all the others. It's a meta-category, which would make use of other control mechanisms. e.g. #005 should really belong in the Stalemate in 1 category. Perhaps it will later, but for the moment this category will remain here.
